Beach Club Colony
When you think of Grand Cayman you think rum, weather and water. While the Caymans can be expensive you can offset the monetary
exchange by staying at one of the island's few all inclusive hotels. Step out of your hotel room and onto the powdery sands of
famous Seven Mile Beach.

The Beach Club Colony along with many island resorts was all but destroyed by hurricane Ivan in 2003. It has recently remodeled and reopened in 2005.
Your stay here is more reminiscent of what the island was like 30 years ago. Boasting only 41 rooms you'll come to know and recognize your fellow
vacationers and hotel staff and they will come to know you.
Imagine eating breakfast on a terrace next to the clearest water you will ever see. Birds will join you for breakfast watching and waiting for
an errant morsel of food. If you're not careful a bird may snatch some bacon from an unattended plate. While some find this annoying it does quite add
to the charm of the place. Lunches feature typical carribbean dishes along with American dishes such as hamburgers. Guests may find that their favorite
day at the Beach Club will be JerK Chicken day! If you haven't experience JerK Chicken keep some water or a cool drink nearby!
Most dinners are served buffet style with an assortment of seafood dishes. Invision romatic honeymoon dinners on a candle lit terrace as
a buccaneer ship lollys by in front of a setting sun.
After dinner make your way to the bar to finish up your night. Play a round of bingo but don't shout BINGO unless you're sure you have it. Otherwise you
will be singing your country's national anthem in front of everyone!
Enjoy the water activites or soak up the sun! Borrow snorkel gear or bring your own for some awesome snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Even though
alot of the soft corals were destroyed by hurricane Ivan there's plenty of life to see! Paddle a kayak through the crystal clear water or rent jet skis. If saltwater isn't your thing take a dip in the pool and sip a
tropical rum drink. Although some days you'll be sharing the beach with cruise ship passengers, most days you may be the only ones enjoying the beach.
The hotel's adjacent dive shop is quite helpful in planning your dives and is quite knowledgeable and helpful. The dive boat will pick you up right at the hotel for the West End dive sites. On a calm day they will dive
the north end of the island to do the steep wall dives which are definite crowd pleasers.
The Beach Club Colony is situated close to other island based activites and arrangements to do just about anything can be made with Miss Brenda in the open air lobby. It is 15 minutes away from Owen Roberts airport and short walks from fast food, ice cream and other
entertainment.
