Choosing a honeymoon destination
It takes both of you when planning a honeymoon
Just as your wedding took some forethought so should your honeymoon planning. It should involve BOTH of you! Start with an idea of
what both of you would like to do. Think about activities you both will enjoy.
Consider the activity level that both of you will be comfortable with.
Consider your budget! You know you're going to make out like bandits with your wedding gifts but if you don't plan well you can easily blow even the most generous budget
you've set for yourselves. If you are planning a weddingmoon and planning travel for guests there are resorts that cater to this type of affair. Do your research and consider some
of the resorts and destinations we have on our site.
If traveling abroad for a weddingmoon, research the marriage laws of the country involved. Some require a stay of a certain amount of days before you can legally get married!
Why all inclusive resorts make any honeymoon destination great!
Caribbean all inslusive resorts are great choices for a honeymoon destination. Weather is usually agreeable year round.
All inclusive resorts make planning a honeymoon or weddingmoon easier for all those involved.
In most cases you will know upfront what your costs are going to be. Meals and activites with
your wedding party are easy to manage and don't involve travel to and from a resort with family and friends of all different ages. Most all inclusive resorts include a buffet style of meal plan that
will suit most tastes.
YES, you can leave your resort! All inclusive doesn't mean you are confined to your resort. Most honeymoon destinations have a great selection of excursions and activites that are not located on the
resort property. Be aware that these activities and excursions are usually an extra charge and are not affiliated with your resort. Before you leave for your honeymoon we suggest you plan some excursions that
most interest both of you. Budget your time! You most likely won't be able to do everything, but with some planning you can certainly take advantage of the best of what your weddingmoon destination has to offer.
